Black Stars Head Coach Otto Addo Drops Former Captain Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Ali Muntari And Wakaso

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has dropped Asamoah Gyan, Mubarak Wakaso and Sulley Ali Muntari from his latest call up. In a 29-man squad for this month’s international friendly games, the three experienced players were not included when the squad was made public.

Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has made his intentions known to represent Ghana at the upcoming global football competition in Qatar. He draws inspiration from legendary Roger Milla and is ready to score goals for Ghana. He has been holding personal training to stay fit for the imminent task.

Mubarak Wakaso has been enjoying stint with the national side but was not included in the latest call up. The deep-lying playmaker recently joined a Belgium side as he aspires to be part of the final squad for World Cup.

Sulley Ali Muntari, after an illustrious career in Europe, opted to play for Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Football. The decision to play gave the opportunity for Ghanaians to know what he could offer Black Stars. He convinced the masses with what he is known as many call for his inclusion into the national team. Otto Addo is yet to go give him another opportunity.
