Mubarak Wakaso is a Ghanaian footballer who currently plays for Chinese club Shenzhen. He also plays for the Ghana national team as a midfielder. He spent the better part of his career in Spain, starting out at Elche in 2008 and going on to also represent Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada and Alavés.
Wakaso will not be able to join the senior national team of Ghana (Black Stars) because, he has affirmed that, there are some family issues he need time to sort out.
He made it clear to Ghanaians that, he is very sorry to inform all Ghanaians that, he won’t be part of the twenty - two man squad for the African Cup qualifiers. He finally state it that, he is wishing the Black Stars all the best and good luck for their games.
