Sulley Muntari has revealed the desire to return back to the Blackstar camp if he is being called upon to represent. Sulley Muntari is well known in Ghana for his contribution towards the national football team as a player. The former Inter Milan and Ac Milan player was once a strong pillar in the Blackstar team as the team was built around him.
Speaking on GTV, Sulley revealed that he is ever ready to represent the country again if they call him. Even to the extent of just sitting at the bench to help his colleagues. Sulley Muntari spent the 2021 season with Accra Hearts of Oak winning the MTN FA cup. Sulley is yet to retire from professional football which makes him eligible to represent the team.
“Ghana, even if I’m on crutches today and they call me to come help, I’ll definitely run and go. Even if I can’t play, I’ll sit and contribute,” Muntari stated. Sulley last represented the team way back in 2014 after he was expelled due to misconduct at the World Cup.
