Asante Kotoko have been eliminated at the quarterfinals stages of the MTN FA CUP by Berekum Chelsea.The game ended goalless and the Porcupine Royals were beaten through penalties.

The Fabulous boys were dominant at the initial stages of the game. They created some decent chances but they were unable to convert those chances. The blues goalie Ernest Sowah made numerous saves to deny Kotoko from scoring.

The game eventually ended 0-0 at the first half of the game. Berekum Chelsea skipper Edmond Okpodo nearly got the opener for the visitors but his shot was deflected.

Augustine Okrah who joined Kotoko from Bechem United and has been one of the integral players for the Porcupine Royals is now a free agent. He has decided not to continue to play for the club. Okrah produced 4 goals and 3 assists in 17 goals.

Okrah's contract with the Porcupine Warriors has lapsed following the club's season-ending defeat in the MTN FA Cup on Sunday.
