World Cup qualifiers: Zimbabwe sack head coach Zdravko Logarusic ahead of Ghana clash

 Ghana will face Zimbabwe next month Former Kotoco coach Zdravko Logarusic is not sitting on the bench because he has been sacked by the Warriors. 

 Logarusic was only fired because Zimbabwe was making no progress and getting poor results. In 

 Logarusic has trained 14 games, Zimbabwe only won 1 game, lost 8 games and played 5 games. 

 Last week's 10 defeats against Ethiopia were the last nail in Logarusic's coffin, as Zimbabwe brings up the rear in Group G qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup

 Logarusic was named head coach in January 2020 and led the Warriors to qualify for the African Nations Cup for the fifth time, but recent results and performance forced the association to terminate their contract. The 

 Croat is very popular in Ghana and has trained the giants Asante Kotoko and their regional opponent AshantiGold. 

 Zimbabwe will face the injured Ghana in a double World Cup qualifier next month. Black Star strives to get back to the top of the list with the maximum score of six points.
