Eid Adha Special: Message From GPL Champions Accra Hearts Of Oak And Other Clubs

Tuesday, July 20, 2021, marks a special day for Muslims across the globe, because of the celebration of Eid Adha. Worldwide, Muslims mark the day to purify their faith in their religion. Muslim footballers and other sporting personalities observe the day, hence, teams send their Eid wishes to their players and the sporting world via their social media handle. 

Reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League Accra Hearts of Oak through their official Facebook page sent a heartwarming message to their Muslim players and the entire Oak fraternity. 

“May Allah shower Rahmah upon us and grant us more victories as we continue to participate in various competitions. 

Eid ul Adha Mubarak to the entire Hearts of Oak family!”

Accra Hearts of Oak won the Ghana Premier League after 34 matches with 61 points, 4 points ahead of sworn rivals Asante Kotoko. They encountered tough moments at the early stage of the season but managed to overcome them, and clinch the trophy. The arrival of Coach Samuel Boadu and Salifu Ibrahim had a far greater contribution to their title success.

Asante Kotoko also took to social media to send their message across. 

“We join Muslims around the world to celebrate the festival of sacrifice, Allah's gift to mankind and kindness.🌎 

𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙖 𝙙𝙖 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝 to y'all 𝙁𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙨 Muslims!!”

The Porcupine Warriors missed out on the ultimate after losing to Accra Hearts of Oak in the closing stages of the campaign. They hope to bounce back next season.

Berekum Chelsea had their turn and they spread love to members of the blues family.

Obuasi-based AshantiGold who have been at the center of accusations alongside relegated Inter Allies, did not forget to wish Muslims happy Eid. 

“Eid Mubarak to all Muslims celebrating around the world.”

Dreams FC - after completing the just ended campaign with 49 points - came through with a message for their Muslim players and fans, via their official Facebook page.

“To our Muslim players and fans, we say happy #EidAlAdha to you all.” 

Dormaa-based Aduana Stars put across an Eid message for its members. 

“Eid Mubarak to all Our Muslim Fans.” 

Muslims players and supporters of these clubs will appreciate the wishes from their clubs.
