Karim Benzema was having a bad day, to say the least. In the second half of Real Madrid's 2 - 2 tie with Elche, the Frenchman requested a change and exited the field.
According to early indications, he will miss the Copa del Rey match against Athletic Club, but should be fit for the first leg Champions League match against PSG. Tomorrow, we'll learn more about his injury.
Benzema's house was looted during the match, according to a story on '20 minutes' tonight. According to the investigation, the house was uninhabited at the time of the robbery.
The robbers broke into his residence in San Sebastián de los Reyes through the garden.
This is the second time during a game that Benzema's home has been looted. After a February Clasico, Benzema received information that his residence had been broken into by burglars.
There is no other information at this time, and the thieves have not yet been identified.
