Coach Abdul Gazale took charge of the first training session as the players went through their paces to get themselves ready for what will be a very demanding campaign.
The Porcupines have released pictures of the first day training session which was held at the newly constructed astro turf pitch at Agiriganno, East Legon in Accra.
A large number of their fans turned up to witness the session which was held under the lights at the East Legon pitch.
The players responded well to the session as they were led through the rituals by Coach Gazale who has taken temporary charge od the team before the announcement of a new gaffer following the unexpected departure of Prosper Nartey Ogum.
Asante Kotoko will continue with the pre-season schedule in the capital until Saturday before they trek to Turkey on Sunday to continue with the preparations.
It is believed the new coach will join them in Europe for the rest of the pre-season schedule before they return to Ghana at the end of the month ahead of the start of the new season in September.
