RTU piped Bofoakwa Tano FC to the premier league after sealing a 2-0 win at home to Kenyese Unity FC. Bofoakwa Tano FC on the other hand after failing to record a win against regional rivals Berekum Arsenal.
Three teams qualified to the premier league from three zones each.
Bibiani Gold Stars and Accra Lions qualified from Zone 3 and 2 respectively.
Ebusua Dwarfs, Liberty Professionals and Elmina Sharks were the teams that got relegated from the Premier League this season.
