Nurudeen Blasts Lazy And Complacent Players in Away Defeat

Head coach of King Faisal, Nurudeen Amadu has hit hard at his players for being lazy in recent times.

The “Insha Allah” Boys suffered a 2-0 loss against AshantiGold in week 20 on Friday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi to blot their top four chances. With 29 points in 6th position from 20 games in the 2021/22 season, coach Nurudeen Amadu says his charges must eschew laziness and complacency if they must climb up the log.

“It was a very poor performance from us, it is very unpardonable because we corrected all these mistakes. “The same goal, we conceded the second goal, we corrected the mistake yet it happened so it’s very bad but that is football. “I think that, they [players] didn’t play to tactical instructions and they were just bad on the day. “Sometimes these things do happen and we have to be up and doing other than that we are going to be losing many of our games.

“I think we need to sit up, the players must eschew laziness and complacency if we want to go forward so we will see what happens in our next game,” Nurudeen Amadu told StarTimes. King Faisal will host Berekum Chelsea in week 21 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, March 20.
