Key Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Nurudeen to miss Sunday's game with Elmina Sharks due to illness

Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen will sit out their game with Elmina Sharks on Sunday due to illness.

Nurudeen, has been impressive for the Phobians during this second round of the Ghana Premier League, GPL as they seek to retain their title.

However, the player has been taken ill, and, will not be part of the Hearts of Oak squad that will take on Sharks tomorrow.

The Phobians will host Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium in a GPL Matchday 25 fixture, and, they will look to bounce back to winning ways after losing last weekend to Asante Kotoko.

Coach Samuel Boadu's men for this encounter will not include Nurudeen who played in their last game with Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.

Hearts of Oak will go into this game 16 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko with 10 matches to end the campaign.

They will look to win this fixture against an Elmina Sharks side that are bottom on the table and, have not won on their travels this season.

The Phobians will be the odds on favourites to win the three points and, should other results go their way, they could climb into the top four at the end of this round of matches.

Coach Boadu will hope his charges will rise to this challenge as they go in search of another victory at the Accra Sports Stadium.
