Ghana has attain an honour to become the country with the fastest internet in Africa.
This ranking was done by global index.
The ranking was based on the speed of the internet connection in the country and Ghana was the highest. The highest speed is 53.28mbps which makes it number one in Africa.
South Africa was second followed by Egypt.
South Africa has an internet speed of 47.32mbps.
Ghana placed first in Africa and 79th country in the world.
This is a great achievement as the communication services in the country are really working hard to ensure digitization in the country and also to promote economics development.
This will create more jobs online since there is a stable internet connection.
This is also the very first time Ghana is ranked 1st in internet speed in Africa.
We hope to increase the megabytes per second speed to 100mps soon.
