Ghana ranked second most peaceful country in Africa.
Ghana has been ranked 2nd most peaceful country in Africa in the 2021 Global Peace index Report. This was ranked by the Institution for Economics and Peace, (IEP).
The IEP is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think tank dedicated to shifting the world’s focus yo peace as positive, achievable and tangible measures of human well-being and progress.
Looking at the report captured, Ghana is ranked 38th in the world out of 163 countries reviewed. Ghana then scored 1.715 which represents a two moves from the previous Global Peace Index Report.
Other African Ranking.
Mauritius, the only African Country ahead Ghana in the peace index of the first position in Africa ranked 28th in the global space. Botswana took the third lead in Africa which and was ranked 41st position in the global peace index report.
Iceland has ranked number 1 most African Peaceful Country in the world, with score of 1.1. New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal, and Slovenia ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
Least Peaceful Country In Africa
The most five countries with least peace in the world according to the global report in 2021 are Iraq (ranked 159th), South Sudan (ranked 160th) Syria (ranked 161st), Yemen (162nd) and Afghanistan (the last ranked of 163rd).
