British Airways To Throw Away The Phrase "Ladies And Gentlemen" In Announcements For This Reason

British airways is a carrier airline for the United Kingdom. The airline is the second most largest airline in the United Kingdom. This is as a result of their fleet size and the number of passengers who patronize their services. British airways is headquartered in London near Heathrow Airport.

British airways has earlier today announced that their staff and pilots should not use the phrase "Ladies and Gentlemen" when announcing important issues or informations to travelers. The reason for that is that the company wants to ensure all inclusiveness in their dealings.

See picture below;

According to the airways, they do not want to offend LGBTQ people who patronize their airways or flights. They want all customers to feel welcome and part of them irrespective of their s€xual orientation.
