As the first domestic flight of African Airline Landed in Ho the regional capital of the Volta Region, many especially those from the region are elated at this landmark developmental Airport Project and are grateful to whoever initiated it.
It is believed that with the opening of the Ho Airport, traders and business men in and around Kumasi who travel to Togo to trade can now fly from Kumasi to Ho and then connect to Aflao by road in 1 hour 45 minutes.
This indicates that, the previous long road trip from Kumasi to Accra before connecting to Aflao through Sogakope will be cut off. In many developed countries, transportation has stirred economic growth. It came as a pleasant news yesterday as the first flight which signified the opening of the Ho airport for commercial flight landed safely.
Many websites and individuals, including those from the camp of the opposition are attributing this beautiful Airport to the Generational thinker and visionary leader, ex President John Dramani Mahama.
The have hailed him and described him as the best for leading the then administration to secure funds and initiate the construction of the Airport. He contributed his quota so may God Bless John Dramani Mahama.
Others are also against this glory and praises showered on the ex president. They have opined that he didn't finish what he started and hence he shouldn't be celebrated. Well, whatever be the case, is the Ho Airport his legacy? You Comments and views are welcomed.
