Law maker for Assin Central is back in Ghana after visiting the United States. In the United States, Kennedy Agyapong made some allegations against a worker at the airport who extorts money from travelers in the name of the government.
He promised to expose the guy when he comes to Ghana. Kennedy Agyapong is in the country and has assured Ghanaians that he will get the guy fired. Tonight, June 4, 2021 he spoke on 'The Attitude With Kennedy Agyapong'.
“Dr. Afriyie should listen carefully. Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Protection and regulatory Service Directorate, Plant exportation Regulation unit should listen. The guy involved is called Emmanuel Amponsah Agyekum. He should sack himself before I come there on Monday. Dr. Akoto should listen. This guy has been taking money from travelers and stamping their foods with the government stamp. He takes 50 cedis from the travelers. The money he takes goes to his own MoMo number.
Emmanuel Amponsah took money from one Dr. called Joseph Opoku. The Dr. reported the issue to me. Imagine if he gets 50 cedis from 20 people a day? He should sack himself before I get to the ministry on Monday. Dr. Akoto, the ball is in your court. You have to sack him before Monday. You asked us to fix the country and we will fix it” Kennedy Agyapong said
It is yet to be seen what will happen on Monday or how Dr. Afriyie Akoto will react to the investigation. Kennedy Agyapong called on Ghanaians to fix their attitude before calling on the government to fix the country.
