Latest Release from Ghana Immigration Service And The Various Screening Centers

The Management of the Ghana Immigration Services in a statement released and signed by SUPT. Michael Amoako-Atta, the Head of Public Affairs for the service has urged all applicants who has not yet received a text message to report to the various screening centres.

According to the release, the Ghana Immigration Service has noted that some applicants despite being selected at the online stage of the application process has not received Messages for the Body Selection and Document Authentication Stage of the Process.

The Statement further entreats all applicants to kindly go to the specific screening centres they choose during their online registration for the recruitment. They are to report to the various Regional Screening Centres between the period of Monday, October 25, 2021 to Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 6am.

Applicants are also informed that they should make their confirmation slips available (the printed copies of the online registration form) and also all original copies of the various certificates. The certificates starts from Junior High School, Senior High School , tertiary certificates if any and original national service certificate if only one has observed the mandatory national service.

Various Regional Screening Centers

Below are all the regional screening centres in the 16 regions of Ghana.

Ashanti Region will have their screening exercise at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at Asokwa, Greater Accra will also have it at the University Of Ghana Sports Stadium for the recruits and ElWak stadium for the Cadets.

In rated news the Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry Of Education, Mr. Opoku Yaw Mensah in a Facebook post on 25th October 2021, have express that It's so disheartening to see how some applicants are made to stand in the scorching sun for so many hours.

He pleaded with security agencies to employ dignified human means to do their physical screening of applicants seeking to enter the service than this long queues subjecting these young men and women to stand in the hot sun to take their turn. 

"Please officers, directors and people in charge of the process, can't the applicants be grouped and screen in phases to avoid this hectic process? From what i seen in Tamale and Kumasi is so frustrating".

He asked the officers in charge to do something about the fraustrations applicants are going through.
