Netizens have been reacting in several ways in relation to the travelling expenses of the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo lately. Anytime he embarks on a travel, Netizens try to recollect and touch on the cases of his alleged expensive transportation expenses.

This issue on the transportation of the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has has pop up online again. This time, it was not a direct reaction to another luxurious expenditure made by the president of the Republic of Ghana on his journey.

It was a reaction the came up as the transportation medium of the president of Zambia was made public.

Netizens have alleged that the president of Zambia had taken a commercial aircraft to attend a meeting in the United Kingdom, and this has generated a lot of reactions.

In one of those reactions, a Twitter user decided to calculate the expenses that the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo would have made if he was to make a trip for one week. This is an image of the reaction made by the Twitter user on the post below.

She has speculated that Akuffo Addo spends £15,000 per hour on a private jet. If he stays on the private jet for twenty four hours, he would have spent £320,000. If he should spend a week on a trip, he could have spent £2,520,000. She believes that when £2,520,000 is converted to Ghana Cedis, it would amount to GHS 20,000,000. This, she says excludes aviation and fuel fees that she has estimated to cost $500 per day. She has also alleged that the amount involved could have built one hundred Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound.

It must however be put on record that the president of the Republic of Ghana was not alleged to have made a one week travel. This calculations were simply made by this user that we have termed the 'social media economist' because of how she took time to make these calculations.
