An outspoken man and the Executive Director of Good Governance Advocacy Group, Ghana (GGAGG), Listowell Nana poku, has told the Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited and the host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Otchere, to resign from his position if he has anything to say about his involvement in the procurement of Christmas trees at the Ghana airport.
Listowell Nana poku made this statement on 'Good Morning Africa' on Pan Africa television this morning, 12th January 2022, when he gave his opinion on the brouhaha surrounding the purchase of Christmas trees for decorations at the Ghana airport.
According to Listowell Nana poku, over the last few days, he has felt much shame for Paul Adom Otchere for his involvement in the procurement of Christmas trees at the Ghana airport.
Listowell Nana poku indicated that if Paul Adom Otchere has anything to say about the Christmas trees at the airport, he should resign and go and say it.
"That will be much important for the life of Paul Adom Otchere, so that if Paul Adom Otchere is not guilty, his resignation will call for all of us to pay attention to why Paul Adom Otchere is right."
Listowell Nana poku stated that because Paul Adom Otchere knows he is wrong, and because Paul Adom Otchere knows that what he has done amounts to defrauding the state by pretense, he will not resign.
"Why would Paul Adom Otchere choose a Christmas tree over the salaries of workers? For the first time in the history of the company, workers went for the Christmas without pay." Listowell Nana poku revealed that the workers at the Airport company were just paid on the 4th and 5th of this month, but Paul Adom Otchere came and lied.
He added Paul Adom Otchere has been the lying tool for Akufo Addo for years, and that position he occupies is his benefit for being a liar.
"Whoever told Paul Adom Otchere that a board chairman should be part of any procurement process has rendered him useless, and he should never go on the tv again to accuse people of not knowing." Listowell Nana poku added.
