The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, President of Asogli Traditional Area, and former President of the National House of Chiefs, Togbe Afede XIV who flew on the first commercial flight to Ho on 15th April 2021, stated that the travel time on the flight from Accra to Ho is about 20 minutes.
He furthered that unlike travelling by road, airtravel takes only 20 minutes which reduces travel time by a factor of 20.
It takes approximately 3 hours to 5 hours to travel from Ho to the central business area of Accra. The boarding and the flight time however has drastically reduced those hours to just about 20 minutes.
Togbe Afede XIV stated that the people of the region as well as all Ghanaians and the sub-region must take advantage of the commercial flights to and from Ho to Accra.
The airline will officially start operation three weeks from today which means the public can board flights from May this year.
Togbe Afede XIV also gave indication that, a pilot school and aircraft repair training center will be opened in the Volta Region.
What do you think of the Ho Airport, a good investment or a waste of rask payers money?
