1. The Greater Accra is not the same as Accra. Greater Accra is a region among the 16 regions of Ghana, which stretch far somewhere around Agbletokwei in the east to Kasoa ( TollBooth) in the West, and the smallest region of the 16 regions in Ghana. Accra, on the other hand is the Regional capital of the Greater Accra Region, the business administrative, economic and business hub of the country.

2. Accra is the capital city of Ghana. As of 2020, Accra had an estimated 4.2 million people. It has the seat of government and many Ministries and Companies have thier head offices located in Accra.

3. According to history, Accra was founded the Ga people somewhere around 1600. The word Accra is believed to have originated from "Nkran", meaning ants.
