The Manta Resort is a very popular hotel located in the far North-west of Pemba Island in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The hotel situated on an idyllic beach has a three-storey suites that floats on the ocean and an underwater sea room tethered 250 metres from the shore. It has a spa, restaurant, pool side bar,outdoor pool,concierge, public internet and free WiFi etc.
The hotel has three levels; the Landing deck where the boat drops you off and the location of the lounge and bathroom, the top floor of the Manta resort has daybeds and shades for relaxing in the day and watching the stars in the sky during the night and the third level which is also referred to as the sea level, is the submariner room.
One night in the Underwater Room costs around $1,840 a night for two people (a minimum stay of three nights is required), and it's anchored in water around 32 feet deep.
