Ghana has it's own Presidential Jet which all Past President's used for their trips.
The member of Parliament for North Tong draged the Nana Akufo-Addo to Parliament over an alleged expenditure of GH 2.8 million on renting a private jet.
However, why has the current President, Akufo-Addo abandoned the aircraft owned by the stated and have decided to rent a private jet.
Meanwhile, he is spending millions of Ghana cedis on a luxurious private jet which he used for his trips. The country is spending so much on his trips which is not good for Ghana because he could have used the state Presidential jet and saved cost.
Ghana is a country that has limited resources and spending GH 2.8 million on a rented private jet for a trip to France and South Africa.
He used the aircraft for a number of hours to Paris and Johannesburg which after have to pay so much for the cost of the aircraft on the current exchange rate.
