The finals of the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz came off today in Kumasi in the Great Hall at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. The contest which started with over 100 schools came down to only 3 schools competing for the grand prize. The 3 school included PRESEC, Legon, Prempeh College and Adisadel College.

According to Mr Cabounu who spoke in an interview monitored on OkayFM this morning with Kwame, he said "I can say for a fact that all the heads receive less than ghc4000."

The 2022 National Science and Math Quiz(NSMQ)was won by the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (Presec Legon). On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, they won the championship by defeating Prempeh College and Adisadel College in a fiercely contested final. Presec Legon fell behind Prempeh in the first round before making a solid comeback to tie the game in the second round and win the match.
