Over the past week, the abandoned E-block facility at Aflao has sparked a longstanding controversy between the opposition National Democratic Congress and the NPP government. This comes after a fuel tanker run into a ditch and crushed the tank full of petroleum product. Luckily the driver escaped harmelss but the material loss is huge and could run into thousands of Ghana Cedis.

The resident says, the manner Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo used to reply their chief is very hurting and it has sparked anger in them.
If there were any reactions President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo had expected after his interview with Kwame Sefa Kayi of Peace FM, one can conclude that it certainly cannot be as is happening at the moment. The President has been widely criticized by some sections of the public for his posture and direct "response" to the Aflao paramount Chief when the latter called gave an ultimatum to the Education Minister to complete an educational infrastructure in one of the communities under him.

The Paramount Chief of the Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V called on the government to complete the E-block community day senior high school buildings in his area.
