The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr. Kofi Asare has told all Ghanaian teachers to channel their grievances and reservations to their union leaders in the midst of the One Teacher One Laptop intiative brouhaha. He took to his Official Facebook page on Saturday 4th November 2021 to add his voice to the uproar made by teachers about the money deducted from their accounts.

2022 Budget: Scrap Teacher Trainee Allowance and Invest in Basic Education- Kofi Asare To Gov't

The Executive Director of Africa Education Watch, Mr Kofi Asare has urged goverment to completely scrap the teacher trainee allowance. The teacher trainee allowance was restored by the Akufo-Addo led goverment in 2017 following its cancellation by the erstwhile NDC goverment. The Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori Atta is scheduled to present the 2022 budget in Parliament today.

25 Percent Of Primary Schools Lack A JHS In Ghana - Eduwatch

The Executive Director of the Education think tank – Africa Education Watch has revealed that 25% of primary schools in republic of Ghana don't have Junior High Schools and that account for low performance and huge school drop out. In a statement posted and sighted on his official Facebook page, He said "Nationally, 25% of primary schools lack a JHS, causing huge dropouts".

WASSCE 2021 for School Candidates has just commenced. Yesterday's Food and Nutrition Paper 3, scheduled for 1:30 PM, according to Africa Education Watch on a post on Facebook was found on social media at 11:06 AM. This was hours before the scheduled period. According to Africa Education Watch, they reported the said incident to WAEC at 11:10 AM.

The Africa Education Watch popularly known as the Eduwatch has said that currently there are over 5,000 schools under trees 4,500 primary schools without JHS across the country.
