Akoto Ampaw, a private legal practitioner, has denied his role in the $5 million bribery claim brought against Chief Justice Anin Yeboah by another lawyer, Akwasi Africa. Mr. Afrifa is currently facing disciplinary action after his client, Ogyeedom Obranu Kwesi Atta VI, requested assistance from the General Legal Council in recovering $75,000 from the lawyer.
A client claims his lawyer suggested he paid an amount of money for some ways and means, the lawyer has however denied the claim and the case is before the general legal council.
