It was a heart-breaking scene at the Weija District Court today when the case involving the attempted murder of Akosua was heard. The mother, Doris Okuma and the son, Daniel Okai, 18 years old, were hauled before the court to be tried for their crimes against their very blood relative, Akosua.
One cannot fathom how some people could be that evil against their blood. A young woman, Akosua, resident in Awoshie was stabbed multiple times in the lower abdomen and back by her younger brother with the assistance of the mother. According to her and as corroborated by Kofi Adoma Nwanwani of Angel FM, the two assailants have been accused of incest by residents, and that she [Akosua] had witnessed the sexual affair the mother has been having with the son.
A 20 years old teenager called Akosua who stayed at Awoshie in the Greater Accra region narrates how her mother and junior brother stabbed her when she discovered their secret. According to Akosua the mother and her junior brother was having an affair but she was not aware of it.
