The caption of the video which says "supporters of Bawumia and Alan Cash clash with cutlasses at Suhum" has made many believe that there is no peace between the vice president and the minister for trade and industry because both of them have the chance of becoming the party's flag bearer.
The tenure of office of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo will end in 2024. As it has become a "norm", there has to be a flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party who would contest for the main general elections.
