North Gonja: Five Communities Connected To National Grid

Five Communities in the North Gonja District of the Savanna region, over the weekend, were connected to the national grid, bringing an end to decades of untold hardship brought on the communities by the lack of electricity. The connection of Tiembang, Somun, Nabengu, Salugu and Tusungu to the national grid means fifteen communities have now been hooked to electricity since 2017 with 14 more at various stages and will be ready for commissioning soon.
