Mr Joseph Akanjolenur Whittal, commissioner of the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice has finally spoken and sent a message to Dr. Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police, Hon Dominic Nitiwul, Defence Minister and Hon Ambrose Dery, Interior Minister demanding a response or their comments regarding the deaths of individuals in relation to the 2020 elections in the country.
The Committee of Enquiry, set up by the Interior Minister, Hon. Ambrose Dery, as ordered by President Nana Addo have started their public enquiry, of the Ejura unrest, that has resulted so far, in the gruesome murder of two persons (one shot from the back and another from the side) and a successful surgery which has seen a 16year protestors both legs, amputated.

The President of the land, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo instructed the Minister for Interior, Hon Ambrose Dery to set a Committee on Thursday, 1st July 2021 to probe into what happened in Ejura that led to the death of three people; Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed (48 years of age), Murtala Mohammed (26 years of old), and Abdul Nasir Yussif (25 years of age).
The Minister of Interior, Ambrose Dery, was invited to answer to some questions during the 25th sitting of the 2nd meeting of the 1st session of the eighth Parliament chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Joseph Owusu. Following the shootout at Ejura by military officers, the president of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo, in a letter from the communications directorate at Jubilee House, has instructed the minister of interior, to undertake a public enquiry that accounts for the shootout by the military at Ejura. According to the letter, the president instructed Honorable Ambrose Dery, to make public enquiries that would account for the incidents that led to the deployment of military officers and the shootout.
