Although the government through Road Safety Commission and the various ministries are doing everything possible to avert this menace, the situation seem far from over as hundreds continue to die on our roads. It was all sorrow and tears as six (6) youngsters murdered by a saloon automobile in the Oti Region have been buried in Ankaase in Saturday 14th May 2022. At Ankaase in the Krachi West District of the Oti Region, six of the seven school students who were murdered by a vehicle were given a mass burial.

The six school children who lost their lives after they were knocked over by a car at Ankaase in the Krachi West District in the Oti Region have been laid to rest on Friday, May 13, 2022. According to witnesses, The children as usual closed from school and were on their way to the house when they got involved in the brutal accident and the car that run over them was a Toyota salon car with registration number GR-2392-22.
