A woman in her 30s was crushed to death at Anloga Junction in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region. Anloga District was thrown into a time of shock and suprise when a man who is in his early sixty years was found dead in a lagoon. The incident happen precisely in Tegbi Agbedrafor near a new site which is under construction for Tegbi Caring Sisters Vocational School. Some group of people who were going for fishing found the dead body facing down and it was on top of the water.
On Sunday dawn, November 7 2021, almost 4,000 people in Keta and Anloga, were displaced by tidal wave. The disaster caused about 1,557 individuals displaced and 239 houses affected. In Ketu South, there were about 1,027 people displaced and 149 houses affected. Anloga also had about 1,394 people displaced and 134 houses affected.
Godsway Ablorde, a 27-year-old woman, is being held by the Anloga district police command for setting a former coworker, Ami Ablorde, on fire and killing her at Woe, near Angloga in the Volta Region.
