A lawyer and academic, Raymond Akongburo Atuguba is an Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Law, University of Ghana where he has taught since 2002. A graduate of University of Ghana, with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB), he was called to the bar after passing his professional examination.
Anti Gay Bill in parliament has derived lots of controversies causing a lot of religious leaders and persons to talk and share their view on the need for passing of the bill. In view of this, Aron Adjetey who is a pastor told the press that, he started having sex with boys at age 9 but he later gave his life to Jesus Christ and is now a pastor.
The recent brouhaha (issue) that has sparked fire in the country and also causing massive stir with a whole lot of debates from the prominent people in Ghana is the LGBTQI+. After the debates, the prominent people such as the lawyers, lecturers, MP,s, scholars and so on were against the passing of Anti-Gay Bill.
The flag bearer for Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo said, the main aim of the anti-gay bill is to promote gay and lesbianism in Ghana. The parliament states that, the anti-gay bill was made to eradicate homosexuality from the country but it is rather vice versa.
