An Apsonic tricycle with the registration number M-15-NR-1459 was loaded with firewoods heading from Bolgatanga to Accra. When the rider of the tricycle got to Pong-Tamale along the Tamale-Bolgatanga highway, a Nissan vehicle with the registration number GC-3077-20 lost control of the steering wheel after hitting a pothole and rammed into the tricycle.
