UTAG Decline Tripartite Invitation Due To Past MOAs
The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) was invited to meet the National Labour Commission (NLC) and the Government on the 7th of February 2022. It is unfortunate to state that, the meeting will never come on as scheduled since UTAG has declined the invitation.

Our issues with government have been resolved- UTAG.
The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) says it has resolved it issues with the government after their latest negotiations with the government. Students of public universities may therefore be relieved as classroom activities are expected to be fully resume in the next few days ahead. This was disclosed by the National secretary for UTAG, Dr. Asare Asante after a meeting which involved both parties on Friday, March 4th 2022.

UTAG to call off strike soon
The University Teachers Association of Ghana have laid down their tools since the beginning of the academic year demanding better conditions of service. The Government of Ghana will have a meeting with UTAG today, 8th February to resolve the issue between the organization and the government after UTAG declined an invitation to meet the National Labour Commission,NLC after it court appearance.
