The executive committee of the commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) elected Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu The majority leader as the association's acting Chairperson. The election of the head of government business in Parliament, who addressed CPA from the African district, followed a survey among him and his sole competitor, Mr Garry Brownlee from the CPA New Zealand branch.
