A communication team member of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Sylvester Soprano Sarpong, has indicated that he has no sympathy for the public sector workers because they are consuming about 70% of the country's GDP, yet they are not satisfied. Soprano Sarpong made this statement on 'Good Morning Africa' on Pan Africa television when he gave his opinion on the 4% salary increase for public sector workers.
Sylvester Soprano Sarpong, last week Monday (26th July 2021), expressed his opinion on 'Good Mornings Africa' that he has no sympathy for the public sector workers who are disgruntled by the 4% salary increase. This statement by Soprano was received with a pinch of salt by members of his own CPP party.
