Ghana To Use E-Cedi Soon— Bank Of Ghana
The Governor of the Central Bank, Bank of Ghana (BoG), Dr Ernest Addison, in an address at a business conference in the national capital, Accra, has said that Ghana will be adopting a digital currency known as Electronic Ghana Cedis (E-Cedis) soon.

The Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Maxwell Opoku Adare has stated that the Bank of Ghana will bring a soft cash of the national currency by September this year. He made this confirmation when he met the media last week to elaborate certain plans the Bank has to help deepen the financial inclusion of all irrespective of ones location, this would help one to trade and use the local currency anywhere, anytime.
