The General Manager for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the Ashanti Region, Engineer David Asamoah has revealed that the stealing of electricity cables in some communities is at a higher rate than last year in the region. He claims that some robbers pulled down the transformer that served the residents of Ohwim Amanfrom, Abuakwa, and Manso Nkwanta and removed all the copper cables from it.
