A glance through Prof Assasie Opong's Dictionary on Architecture

A hand book on architectural definitions and terms has been launched in Kumasi. The 200-page book titled, “Aalii to Zygomorphic” was authored by a Professor of Architecture at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Professor Rexford Assasie Oppong who doubles as the Dean of International Programme at the university. According to Prof. Assasie Oppong every word has a connection with architecture, hence the desire to compile a handbook to address shortfalls in books on architecture in Ghana.

Prof Owusu-Dabo elected Pro Vice-Chancellor of KNUST

Prof. Ellis Owusu-Dabo has been chosen as the new Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).  He beat his principle competitor, the Dean of Students Prof Wilson Agyei Agyare, by making sure about 464 votes.  Prof Agyare surveyed 392 votes.  The main female competitor, Prof. Sr. Eugenia Ampofo just oversaw 93 votes.  Until his political decision, Prof. Owusu-Dabo was the Dean of the School of Public Health.  Profession  He began his profession as a doctor at the

Government advised to increase tobacco taxes, to reduce the use of Shisha to spread covid-19
