Even though some of these kidnappings have proven to be real, it beats imagination on how some persons will develop the idea of faking their kidnappings.

The Ghana Police Service led by Inspector General George Akufo Dampare and his boys Overpowered a thick tall giant and his two kidnap accomplices for plotting a fresh Kidnap strategy in Takoradi. According to reports, the two women involved in the act Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, aged 27 strstegised with Francis Eshun, aged 27 to fake a kidnap incident demanding a ransom of Five-Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 5,000.00).
Right after the Takoradi incident about a pregnant woman faking her kidnap happened in the country, I was thinking it was going to be the last time we were going to hear of such an issue. This is not so because the Ghana Police has released a new case of a similar happening.
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has announced that its Takoradi Divisional Command has arrested three persons for faking a kidnapping and demanding a ransom of GHS5,000. The suspects as announced by the Police include Joana Krah age 29; Susana Awortwe age 27 and Francis Eshun age 27.
Ghanaians have reacted in anger against the people of Takoradi for the attitude of faking kidnap and demanding for ransom every time. In a news release from the Ghana Police Service, three persons from Takoradi were arrested by the Takoradi divisional police command for faking their own kidnap and demanding a ransom of five thousand cedis.
The Ghana Police service has arrested three suspects for faking a kidnapping incident in the Western region of Ghana. The suspects Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, 27 and Francis Eshun, aged 27 faked this kidnapping and demanded a ransom of GH¢5,000. According to reports, Joana Krah conspired with the other two suspects(Francis and Susana) to feign her kidnapping after which a call was placed to her adopted father in demand for the ransom to ¢5,000.
