Social activist, Kelvin Taylor has criticized the educational system of the country. The vocal social media journalist bemoaned what he called the low standard of the Ghana education system. According to him, the much tauted Free Senior High School introduced the ruling New Patriotic Party, is is the root cause of the falling standards of our educational system.
The debate on Free SHS was resurrected in the studios of Metro TV during the Good Morning Ghana show. Edudzi Tamakloe and Dr. Okoe Boye joined Randy Abbey on the show today. Initially, they were talking about the cancellation of the Physics and Business Management papers due to the mass leakage prior to the main examination.
Many Ghanaians seem to be complaining about the current economic hardships in Ghana. They have expressed their frustrations in diverse ways and though the government keeps assuring them of good tidings, nothing is available yet. This is not to say the government is not working. It is and that is why Ghanaians reelected the Akufo-Addo government back into office for a second term.

It was a rather interesting discussion this morning, Thursday, June 24, 2021 when Richard Asante, a communicator for the ruling NPP and Sam George, MP for Ningo Prampram joined Berla Mundi on TV3’s ‘New Day’ morning show. The Ghana Education Service through the Ministry of Education have come out with plans to procure Past WASSCE question papers popularly known as the "Pasco" to help all the final year Free SHS students preparing for their exams. This followed a statement delivered on the floor of Parliament by the Education Minister, Hon.
The former president HE John Dramani Mahama has called on the government to build the country on consensus and consultation. According to Mahama, Ghana is a country endowed with all the natural resources and people with exceptional talent so the government should consult other so that we all can build the country together.

The Akufo-Addo led Government has make SHS looked very affordable with the Free SHS Policy which he implemented and made it work in the same year. Last year was the year for the first batch of the Free SHS students to write their wassce which was interrupted by the worldly disease, COVID-19.

The NPP government has invested so much into the youth and built a solid foundation for their take-off. Gradually, the illiterate population is reducing and more Tertiary graduates are been churned out.
The managing editor for insight news paper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr has told Ghanaians that if it could possible, they should take NDC and NPP debate out of the free senior high school matter because it is a serous issue which needed to be discussed fairly in the country.

He was appointed a Free SHS ambassador in 2018 while in secondary school at Ghana National College in Cape Coast.
