The senior high school is in crisis following food shortage across the country. The situation has compelled some schools to shut down to avoid further encumbrances. In some schools, authorities had to ask parents to contribute GHC 500.00 each to cater for the feeding of the students.
Selorm Branttie, the Vice President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, has asserted with estimated calculations that, Ghana waste about 900 million cedis for the productive time used for the SIM re-registration exercise. The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has indicated that the amount of GHC22.04 billion captured under BoG as financing in the 2022 Mid-Year budget does not refer to printed cedi notes. Sammy Gyamfi on the 6th May 2022 on the GUMBE programme at XYZ TV has slammed the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for the lack of concern towards the hardships faced by Ghanaians. He accused the current government of selfishness, corruption, and wanton expenditure. He also called out the current administration as a family and friends government indicating that the president has employed mostly his family members and friends into various lucrative positions in his administration.

The Techiman South Community Assembly recorded approximately 899,657.89 GhC for the first quarter of fiscal 2022, which is 95.89 percent of its Internally Generated Fund (IGF) target of 938,211.11 GhC. In comparison, this was better in terms of the money supply generated for the first quarter of 2021, which was 780,829.09 GhC instead of the forecast target of 690,568.89 GhC.
