Over 1000 girls benefit from Girls-In-ICT programme in North East Region
The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), has facilitated the training of about 1000 girls in basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and coding skills to enable build an inclusive digital environment for everyone in the country. The girls, chosen from six districts in the North East Region, gained from the Girls-In-ICT (GIICT) Programme being implemented by the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation through GIFEC, with funding support from MTN Ghana and other partners.
