The Chief Executive of the Ejisu Municipality , Hon.Samuel Oduro Frimpong has lauded the hardworking team of the Greater Accra/Kumasi Metropolitan Assemblies who have been tasked to provide toilet facilities to some selected District Assemblies in both Accra and Kumasi respectively. GAMA/GKMA one house one toilet facility concept is an initiative of the Ministry of Water & Natural Resources and it is funded by the World Bank.

286 households benefit from GKMA sanitation and water project in Kwadaso
A sum of 286 families in the Kwadaso Municipality have profited from present day latrine offices under the Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area (GKMA) sterilization and water Project. Mr Richmond Agyenim Boateng, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwadaso who unveiled this, said 570 families have so far been enrolled under the task which tries to further develop sterilization in the Municipality.
