The member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency, Honorable Sam Nartey George has revealed that, initially, there were four (4) members from the New Patriotic Party on the original anti-LGBTQ+ bill that was to be presented to Parliament but three (3) of them refused to append their signatures on the last minute because they had been warned by their leadership to stay away.

Thursday, 8th October 2021 The issue of LGBTQI is gaining momentum again following the backpush of the anti LGBTQI bill by some law professors and legal luminaries in the country. The 15 member group presented a petition to Parliament last week to reject the proposed bill as in their opinion, it was an infringement on the fundamental human rights of the LGBTQI community and the vulnerable minority in the country.
Yesterday it was revealed that GRIDCO had released a new timetable for power outages for some parts in Accra for the next two months. In the release, GRIDCO cited the power outages to some repairs and this would affect the supply of power. A member of the New Patriotic Party has revealed that she does not have any sympathy for the ousted Guinean President Alpha Conde. Alpha Conde was removed out of office after a bloodless coup by the Military junta led by Mamady Doumbouya yesterday September 5, 2021. The Military Junta claim it took that initiative on grounds of economic hardship and corruption.
Randy Abbey, host of Good Morning Ghana show welcomed and introduced his guests on the show to his viewers. He announced that one of his frequent Friday panelist or guest, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who is the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency couldn't make it to the show today.
Deputy Minister for Energy, Andrew Egyapa Mercer has argued that the threats by the leadership of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) to resume their industrial strike action is needless given that the negotiations are still ongoing. According to him, UTAG must adhere to the roadmap designated for negotiations with respect to their conditions of service.
