Power distribution outlet, GRIDCo, has identified a raging bush fire as the cause of the Saturday afternoon’s power outage which rocks many part of Ghana. On January 14, 2023 at around 12 noon, several parts of Ghana witnessed light outs which lasted nearly two hours.

Some illegal structures built under high tension lines belonging to the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) La Bawaleshie in Accra was Tuesday demolished. An announcement coming from Ghana Highway Authority foretells that from Saturday, 11th September 2021 to Thursday, 30th September 2021, 8 am to 5 pm, that there will be heavy traffic on several parts of the N1 motorway and other urban roads in Darkuman.
