The family of the demised Captain Kojo Tsikata has said the late co founder of the the opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) wished for a private family funeral when he was alive. The octogenarian died in the early hours of Saturday November 20. A statement was released by the family and co-signed by Colonel Joshua Agbotui (RTD) and Fui S Tsikata said there is going to be a private funeral burial in respect with his wishes.

Kojo Tsikata, the former Head of National Security and Foreign Affairs of the Provisional National Defence Council, died on November 20, 2021. (PNDC). He served in the Ghana Army as a retired army captain. Tsikata was dispatched to the Congo with Major General Ankrah as part of a Ghanaian military mission on orders from Kwame Nkrumah to protect Prime Minister Patrice Lumumba, a Pan-Africanist and anti-neocolonialist.
