Former Information Minister, Dr Mustapha Abdul Hamid turned 50 on Monday, 14th June, 2021. As part of his birth anniversary celebration, Dr Hamid donated food items to the Mercy Social Center, an orphanage home at Ashaley-Botwe in Accra. Items presented include bags of rice, boxes of indome, cartons of milo and tea, cartons of assorted drinks and water, gallons of cooking oil, toiletries, etc.
Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, was the minister for Inner City and Zongo Development, mandated to formulate and oversee implementation of policies, programmes and projects to alleviate poverty and ensure that Inner-Cities and Zongo communities become inclusively developed and prosperous. Many will recall that, upon assuming his second term, the President was forced to limit his number of ministers, which is by far, the highest the nation has ever witnessed.
